The efficiency of fertilizers application as regards yields from wheat, maize, soya and tobacco grown on calcareous chernozem and leached cinnamon soil, with different extent of erosion, is proven. The results obtained show that the surface layer ( 5cm) participates with 20-40%(depending on the fertilizers) in the yields obtained from maize, 15-30% in the yields from wheat and 30-50% in the yields from soya. The yields from tobacco leafs in variants with disruption of whole "A" and "B" soil layer is lower by 24-27 kg/da and 19-25 kg/da respectively. Fertilizer application is economically efficient measure with regards to growing of wheat and soya on low and medium eroded soil. It results in an increase in yields by 10-15 %,while the rate of return increases by 45-50% as compared with eroded soils without application of fertilizers.
