Balance of pollution and waste waters quality of fermentation industry

Concerning the influence on water quality of the Tisza river, the Senta region (Serbia, Serbia and Montenegro) should be stressed. Waste waters of fermentation industry 'Alltech-Fermin' directly flow into the Tisza river in that area. Based on data of many-year-monitoring of quality of these waters, it can be concluded that these waters are burdened with high content of pollution of organic type (COD, BOD, organic N), suspended matter and sulfates. Based on pollution balance, it is obvious that these waste waters must cause degradation of quality of the Tisza river.
