The production of enriched and extruded enriched corn meal

The technological procedures for enriched corn meal (obtained by classic milling and germination procedure) and extruded enriched corn meal production, as well as the chemico-nutritional characteristics of these feeds were presented in this paper. Based on the obtained results it can be concluded that application of extruding procedure lead to increasing of feed nutritive value, i.e. improving chemico-physical and sensory characteristics of the extrudate. These facts classified the extruded enriched corn meal in feeds for young animals, as well as for fish and pet feeds production.
