On the basis of the literature data, up to now survey of citrus leaf miner Phyllocnistis citrella, one of the most important citrus pest has been given in this paper. Common characteristics of leaves miners, systematic place and synonims of Ph. citrella, origin and distribution, host plants and economic impact, research works about this pest in the world and in our country, as well as possibilities of its control are presented.
