The aim of the paper is to analyse the share of the gross domestic product of agriculture in the total gross domestic product. It is well known that the high share of domestic product of agriculture in the total gross domestic product is the indicator of less developed economy. The comparative analysis of the level of the development of gross domestic product of agriculture would be based on the published statistical data for Serbia and Montenegro and some selected transitional European countries.
