Meiji University farm has continuously used, three major elements (nitrogen, phosphate, potassium) for twenty-four years. In this study we investigatd the influence of three fertilizers on the amount of inorganic element in soybeans and on their yield. Yield and the amounts of five inorganic elements were highly influenced by phosphate fertilization. Mature grain contained high percentages of nitrogen, calcium and magnesium and there was a good of yield both grain and stems. Furthermore, phosphate fertilizer promoted absorption of inorganic elements.
