Analysis of bank electronic payment services for private persons

Continuing technological innovation and competition among existing banking organizations and new market entrants has allowed for a much wider array of electronic banking products and new market entrants has allowed for a much wider array of electronic banking products and services for retail and wholesale banking customers. Payment system reform in transitory states requires changes in non-cash principles organization, use of new payment types and forms. Therefore, according to the author's opinion, one should pay proper attention to the western states experience in payment system organization, managing and legal regulation, where bank services electronic systems are continuously introduced and updated. The main idea of the paper is to work out an optimal supply strategy for bank electronic payment services in Latvia, evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of today bank payment services, its importance in national economy, and significant factors for the development of electronic services market in the world and Latvia. Research bases is payment card systems based on payment cards and electronic commerce products.
