[Beavers in Latvia: ecological problem or nature's fight with a human?]

In the last years the biggest Latvian rodent - beaver, became of the most popular animal in the country, but not in a positive light. Rodent population in Latvia has to be regulated, as damages in the ownership of forests and agricultural lands have increased. Hunters think that the support of the state is necessary.
