Entrepreneurship development and its influencing factors in Zemgale region

The paper describes the research results about development of active entrepreneurship in districts and cities of Zemgale planning region, and about factors, which form business and social environment, and as well as can influence marked differences among districts. The construction of family houses, private investments, non-financial investment, number of population and density are analysed in the content of constituting factors of active business environment. The differences between major branches of enterprises and business companies, as well as big and middle size enterprises and business companies' structure in districts of region and cities. Clarify fundamental differences in these ever so bitty districts of region.
