Weeds - medicinal plants in segetal flora of the Kampinos National Park (Poland)

Out of 320 species of segetal plants occurring on the arable fields of Kampinos National Park (Poland), 49 have got herbal properties, the majority of them are common and frequent species occurring in cereal and root crops, such as Capsella bursa-pastoris, Centaurea cyanus, Equisetum arvense, Stellaria media. Only 3 species are on the list of rare and threatend segetal weeds in Poland: Agrostemma githago, Consolida regalis, Herniaria glabra. The group of weed herbs occurring in Kampinos is varied in terms of herbal properties. The most numerous group (29 species) are weeds the herbage of which is used in pharmaceutics
