Integrated process for seaweed and shrimp waste processing

Due to the common basic behavior of the desulfation in sulfated galactan and the deacetylation in poly acetylglucosamine, the production of agar, agarose, chitin and chitosan can be carried out in the same pilot plant using the same facilitis. The interated process will result in lower production cost for seaweed and shrimp waste processing.
