There exist large requirements for tea seedling nursery reservoirs. Some substrate mixtures for tea seedling nursery reservoirs were studied and recommended for high budding. The mixture recommuded for tea variety LDP MV1D cuttings in Northern midland areas is 50 percent of soil, 20 percent rice hull or decayed rice straw, 20 percent of manure and 1.5 kg super phosphate; and that for TB14 and Kimtuyen grown in Lamdong is 85 percent of soil, 10 percent of decayed tea dust, 5 percent of microorganism organic fertilizer and 0.65 kg supperphosphate.
