[Lateral shoot formation in apple maiden trees as influencerd by different chemical compounds]

One year old nursery trees of Malus domestica Borkh. "Boskoop", "Gloster" and "Rubin" were treated once or twice with folia sprays of different mixtures of BA and GA3. Examinated cultivars differed in response to the treatments. The best results, regarding the number and length of laterals were obtained with Arbolin 36SL+aminoacids and Arbolin 38L(A)/(B) sprayed twice in one week intervals. The environmental condition plays a great role in induction of sylleptic shoot formation
