Community of fungi in the Gruza [water] reservoir [Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro)]

The qualitative and quantitative composition of the fungal communities, their spacial and seasonal distribution in the Gruza water reservoir were studied in the period March 1987 - October 1992 and 1996. The autochthnous fungal community was composed of the ten species. The alochthonous fungal community of the Gruza water reservoir included 47 species. Allochthonous, terrestrial species were most numerous in spring. Both autochthonous and allochthonous species were more numerous and more diverse in the littoral zone.
