In this paper the results of yields of green fodder and dry matter of winter feed crops (feed cabbages, feed cale and mixtures of feed peas+rye and vetch+rye) as intercrop on the area of Zetsko-Bjelopavlici plain, which belongs to the submediterranean region of Montenegro, have been presented. Feed cabbages and feed cale give relatively high average yields of green fodder (60.9 and 58.0 t/ha). Mixtures of feed peas+rye, so the vetch+rye, should be grown because of higher contents of dry matter and high yields of raw proteins. The effect of sowing time on the yield was higher to feed cabbages than to the winter feed mixtures. By haymaking during the pullulation all the crops had better quality, while during the blooming significantly higher yields have been repoprted.
