Modernization of our peasant agriculture depends on the diffusion of innovation, knowledge and technologies process. Paper points out determinating factors of the process. Some of these concerne general characteristics of global society, and the other are related to village as a social community, peasant family and economy/husbandry as well as socio-culture characteristics of peasants/farmers themselves. Extension methods are also being analysed because of their importance for improvement of our peasant agriculture.
