2005

Azotofiksin is a microbial nitrogen fertilizer whose active agent is rhizobia, which supplies the plant with nitrogen from air in a symbiotic process with the host-plant (legume), thus making the plant less dependent on soil N and treatments with mineral nitrogen fertilizers. The experiment was sep up in field conditions, testing different types of soil and the legumes for human nutrition (soybean, bean, pea). The application of Azotofiksin with specifically-effective strains that are compatible with the legumes clearly showed an increase in crop yield and quality of proteins in seeds and hay.
