Considering the prevalance of the location and esthetic composition of the landscape and the appearance of the Cer area it is exceptional mountain range in the northwest Serbia. This is the area of attractive natural heritage and very important cultural characteristics. The Cer mountain is characteristics because of the natural resources and diversity of flora and fauna, complexity of phytocoenosis and ecosystems. Cer mountain is not yet proclaimed for national park although all this facts. Protection of the mountain will induce the development of ecotourism. Especially valuable of the Cer mountain is very good conditions for sustainable development of various forms of ecotourism
