New cooperatives as a factor of sustainable rural development

In last 50 years, in Serbia cooperatives was faces to large number of systematic obstacles, and all of them in particular and especially in total were huge barrier to development of cooperatives. Today, some of the old (collectives) ideological blockades are fallen, but some new ones appear (liberal), as a consequences of other extreme in political situation in Serbia. This paper work points on need to theoretically project and to make it operative from the legislative point of view optimal model of new cooperatives witch would be adjusted to real circumstances and expected social-economical development of rural areas in Serbia. This paper work also explains the idea that new Serbian cooperative should be closer to new profiles of small stock companies rather then to old socialistic cooperative.
