The effect of antioxidant supplementation of food on hatchability and vitality of Japanese quails

The common effect of antioxidant compounds on hatching of Japanese quail eggs and vitality of hatched quails was examined. The eggs of two differently fed quail groups were collected. One group was fed on commerce hen-fodder (avilable in trade) and antioxidant compounds were added to the other group's fodder. The antioxidant ingredients were: organic selenium, alpha-tocopherol and beta-carotene.
