2001
Toyoshima, G.(Nagano-ken. Vegetable and Ornamental Crops Experiment Station (Japan)) | Kobayashi, S.
An improved technique for mass production of diamondback moth Plutella xylostella (L.) was examined. 1. Eggs were laid on a laboratory film instead of a plant leaf. Consequently, contamination of their diet was prevented. 2. It is useful for using paper wiper to collect pupae. 3. It takes about 2 weeks to go from egg to adult, so the rearing process reduced labor for mass production and maintainance of diamondback moth.
