Genetic parameters for growth traits from clonal lines and open-pollinated progenies of sugi (Cryptomeria japonica) plus trees test sites and open-pollinated progenies of hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtuse) plus trees were estimated by 5-20 years by measurement data of test sites in Kinki and Setonaikai part of Kansai Forest tree breeding region. Each test site was set up by randomized complete-block design with 3 to 5 replications and the total number of test sites was 305. These test sites have been investigated for every 5 years. The repeatability of height trended downward until 15 years after establishment. The change of repeatability of stem diameter was small compared with the repeatability of height. The linear regression analysis was done between each test site repeatability and average repeatability. Regression slopes of about 20% of test sites were significantly different at the 5% level. These results suggest that changes of the repeatability on individual test site pattern were similar to changes of repeatability average.
