This study was carried out to investigate the major agronomic traits of newly developed sweet corn(sh₂) inbred lines and to analyze their genetic similarity using random amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD). A total of 100 RAPDs were used to detect the polymorphisms in the 25 inbred lines. Of these primers, 54 primers showed polymorphisms and total number of polymorphic band was 256. Six primers, OPA09, OPA17, OPB04, OPB07, OPB11, and OPC04, produced specific DNA gragments.
