2006

In this paper the author analyses regularity in the pair. The friction pair is formed of a steel (Steel 45) disc and friction linings. There are two kinds of friction linings: made of asbestos "Ehm-1" GOST 15960(Russian Federation) and filled with metallic chips "COSID 801" (Germany). The friction linings are mounted on disc brake DBE-1. Jelgava Engineering plant (JMR) produces these disc brakes. The experimental work was carried out in the laboratory of JMR. The stand of inertia was used to modulate different disc brake working regimes. After the experimental work the author found such regularities: friction lining wear, heating and friction coefficients value depending on specific surface pressure and braking frequency.
