2003
Balbin, D.D. | Rodriguez, C.M.
This study was conducted to determine the performance of broilers subjected to different feeding systems (A-)-12 days chick booster, 13-35 days Starter, and 36-42 days finisher-starter ration for 42 days; and C-0-28 days starter and 29-42 days finisher). Using 75 head day-old broiler chicks, they were randomly distributed to the three feeding systems with three replicates following the randomized complete block design. The study was conducted from August 15 to September 26, 2002 at the Poultry Project, DMMMSU-NLUC, Bacnotan, La Union. Results revealed that the performance of broilers on differenct feeding systems in terms of final weight, ggain weight, feed consumption, feed conversion efficiency, cost of feed to produce a kilogram gain and profit above feed, medicine and stock cost were comparable.
