The influence of preceding crops on the quality of spring wheat grain

The aim of conducted investigation was estimation of selected quality parameters of spring wheat grain, sown after itself, as well as after not cereal preceding crops (as potato, pea). The experiment with preceding crops for spring wheat was laid out as a randomized blocks design with four replication, on a grey-brown rendzina soil developed from sandy loam, rated as a very good rye soil. It was found that cropping of spring wheat after pea and potatoes increased the total protein content of the grain wet gluten, sedimentation number and grain uniformity
