The effect of mineral fertilization with farmyard manure and tannery sludge on soil concentrations of various copper forms

Mineral fertilization and treatment with farmyard manure and tannery sludge caused significant changes of soil reaction and the highest values of this parameter were registered in soil fertilized with tannery sludge, where notable decrease in hydrolytic acidity was observed with the value noted after the first year. From among analysed soil properties organic carbon content in soil fertilized with farmyard manure changed the least during the four year period of research. Applied fertilization did not raise total copper content in the arable layer but increased the amount of this element most mobile forms
