This subject of study was exterieur and use characteristics of Hucul horses attending the Breeding Championship based on the obtained points. The results of particular elements in breeding evaluation (type, exterior, movement, general care and body condition) and utility (Hucul path and long distance test) for the 20 horses were analysed. The horses were divided into groups according to age, sex, breeder and sire genealogy. Influence of age and sire genealogy on the utility value was stated. Exterieur assessment was affected significantly by sire genealogy
