[Education for the sustainable development as the key element of the state environmental policy]

The perception by the mankind of the unalternativeness of being in harmony with the laws of existence of the nature environment in its activity and the role of these laws in establishing such a harmony forces the leaders of the world states to pay more and more attention to the issues of ecological education as one of the key elements of the education for the sustainable development. That is why the joint appeal on the issues of the education for the sustainable development became one of the final documents of the present All-European conference of natural environment ministers "Environment for Europe" (2003). A Task Force is set to develop a project of the regional strategy for education with the aim of the sustainable development. The paper deals with the content of the Strategy, stressing the necessity of taking into consideration elements of the national culture, religious aspects for fostering the correspondent cautious attitude to the environment and respectful one to the human being as an element of the system mentioned, while being educated with the aim of the sustainable development. A decision is made as to the necessity of representing compacted experience of various countries to the EEC Secretariat for elucidating thereof on the Internet. It is stated that the volumes of financing the programmes "Contributing to ecological education, issuing and disseminating the ecological information" are being increased.

Ucranio. Усвідомлення людством безальтернативності гармонії своєї діяльності із законами існування природного навколишнього середовища та своєї ролі в налагодженні такої гармонії змушує керівництво країн світу все більше уваги приділяти питанням екологічної освіти як ключовому елементу освіти для сталого розвитку. Тому одним із заключних документів Всеєвропейської конференції міністрів навколишнього середовища "Довкілля для Європи" (2003 p.) стала спільна заява з питань освіти для сталого розвитку. Затверджено цільову робочу групу для розробки проекту регіональної стратегії з освіти з метою сталого розвитку. Розглядається зміст Стратегії, в якому наголошено на необхідності враховувати в процесі освіти з метою сталого розвитку елементів національної культури, релігійних аспектів для виховання відповідного ощадливого ставлення до навколишнього середовища, зокрема природного, та шанобливого/ людини як елемента зазначеної системи. Прийнято р шення щодо потреби представлення стислого досві/ різних країн до Секретаріату ЄЕКдля висвітлення його Інтернеті. Збільшуються обсяги фінансування програм "Сприяння екологічній освіті, випуску та поширенні екологічної інформації".
