Experiment was conducted to study the effect of Methyltestosterone on Sexreversal of guppy (Poecilia reticulata). The hormone was mixed with artificial powder feed (Plato) at 50, 100 150 mg/kg of respectively. The early hatched fry were raised in 80 centimeter-diameter cenment tank and fed with hormonal feed 3 times a day continuously for 20 days. After a period of 45 days, all fry fed with different levels of hormone concentration turned out to look similar to male. The highest number was the group that received the 150-mg/kg hormonal feed (68.08 percent). The non-hormone fed guppy was significantly different from those that were treated with hormone at the level of more than 0.50. However there was no significant difference between the experimental and the controlled groups (P LT 0.05). It was concluded that in the group treated with 150 mg/kg might yield the best profit.
