Influence of sperm diluent VKA-3 on aerobian metabolism of carps spermatozoa

The experiment were carried out with several world known sperm activating media for artficial insemination of eggs freshwater fishes. Dilution of semen with extender VKA-3 did not have negative effect on aerobian energy metabolism of male gametes. Increasing of oxigen uptake and cytoshrome system activity of activated carp spermatozoa was founded. Medium VKA-3 has best activating and protective effect on the treated carp spermatozoa.
