This study was carried out in order to determine the contents of moulds in the cereals maize and wheat and in the combined forages produced from them, and the influence of the processes of granulation and extrusion on their mycoflora. The hydrothermal technology process of granulation and extrusion lead to improvement of the health status of combined forages by reducing the number of mould spores. The mycoflora of the granulated and extruded combined forages was represented by the species Fusarium, Aspergillus, Penicilium and Mucor. The higher temperature regime influenced to a highest extent the moulds of Fusarium species.
