[Application of methods of the efferential therapy in case of digestive system pathology of swine]

Research results of the scientific experiments on study of the therapeutic efficacy of enterosorbent SV-1 for the treatment of piglets diseased with toxic liver dystrophy, hepatitis and gastroenteritis were presented. Oral introduction of enterosorbent SV-1 in dose of 1 g/kg of animal live weight once a day till the disappearance of disease symptoms proved to be the effective method for the treatment of mentioned above pathologies of swine. Clinical signs of hepatodystrophy of piglets treated with enterosorbent disappeared by 5 day of treatment. Over 5 days period the enterosorbent favored the reduction of endogenous intoxication markers in the blood of sick animals that indicated the normalization of metabolic processes. Recovery of the morphological state of liver also was noticed. Piglets sick with hepatitis were convalescent after 4,5 days of treatment with enterosorbent SV-1. Intensive regeneration processes took place in liver of the observed animals that was caused by lowering of inflammatory reaction. Lowering of leucocytes quantity, intensity of cytolysis in hepatocytes took place. In case of gastroenteritis the symptoms of diarrhea and exsiccosis disappeared by 3-4 day after enterosorbent application. Recovery of metabolic processes and intestinal absorption caused the normalization of protein metabolism and morphological and functional state of liver. Introduction of enterosorbent SV-1 into the complex scheme of treatment made it possible to increase the efficacy of veterinary measures in the therapy of piglets diseased with toxic liver dystrophy, hepatitis and gastroenteritis
