The land allocation of Belarus by types is given. Here are 14 types of lands depending on character using. The dynamics of agriculture lands from 1995 to 2006 years is shown. Their area during this period has decreased on 272 thousand ha, including arable lands – on 633 thousand ha, and meadow ones increased on 366 thousand ha respectively. Soil cover characteristics of arable lands on soil types, texture, moisture and theirs fertility on regions and еру republic is presented. Obtained data about soils of the republic have formed a basis for carrying out of an estimation of quality of lands. In total in Belarus 4 rounds soil estimated works are made. In 2000 works by a cadastral internal-economic estimation of the agricultural lands are completed. The basic parameter of a cadastral estimation is the point of soil fertility which is established on the basis of soil characteristics on a scale of estimated points. To these points correction factors on the adverse factors of an agricultural production reducing productivity of cultures (erosion, stoniness, contour, low cultivation, climatic conditions) are entered. As a result of introduction of all these amendments the final (actual) point of soil fertility turns out. As a whole in the republic the estimation of fertility of arable lands makes 31,2 points, improvement meadow lands – 26,8 points, natural meadow lands – 15,2 points and as a whole agricultural lands – 28,9 points
