Changes in the endocrine status of cows with different levels of productivity during placenta phase of calving, during restoration of sexual cycle and during sexual cycle have been analyzed. It was established that cows with low level of productivity have changes in content of progesterone and estradiol during final phase of calving and during after-calving period. Considerable changes in the dynamics of steroid hormones occur in cows with low productivity during sexual cycle: secretion of progesterone and estrogens decreases, and the level of cortizol increases. The most favorable terms for determining endocrine changes, causing decrease in productivity, are: placenta phase of calving, the middle of sexual cycle (10-11th day), 0 and 1st day, and 15-17th day of sexual cycle
