The effects of root-forcing media on Tulipa development

Chino. 郁金香生根阶段需要相对低温，给促成栽培带来不便。采用木屑和珍珠岩两种基质进行催根，以进口品种克斯and#8226;奈利斯和神奇圣诞为试材，比较了催根基质对根伸长、出芽率、株高、成花率、全生育期的影响。结果表明：木屑为催根基质，根伸长较快，且后期不存在根老化现象，成花率也高于珍珠岩为基质的材料，且可缩短生育期。

Most tulips are cultivated in conservatory in order to bloom during the Spring Festiva1．But a relative low temperature is required while they take root．In this study, Christmas Marvel and Kees Neils, Two imported tulip varieties，were used as tested materials, and the comparable experiments of effects of root forcing media, sawdust and perlite，on the root elongation，pullulating frequency，plant height and flowering frequency were carried out．The results showed that when sawdust was used as root-forcing medium，the root elongation was faster，the flowering frequency was higher, and also the growing period could shorten．
