A field experiment was carried out in the clay-loam soils of lack-lack agricultural Researching field to select the most suitable application method of fertilizer (broadcasting, fertilizer pouring in the furrow, fertilizer placement in one site of seedling and fertilizer placement in both site of seedling) and its levels (30, 60, 90 kg of nitrogen /ha in source of urea fertilizer) in Hamedan province. The parameters measured or calculated for evaluating and comparison of the treatments were as following: Plant height, Maize height, Percentage of corn cob, Weight of thousand kernels and Net yield. A factorial experiment with 12 treatments (4 methods × 3 levels) was replicated three times in 36 test plots . By analysis of variance and comparison of treatment means using DMRT, the following results were obtained: Effect of fertilizer application methods on plant and maize and percentage of corn cob was not significant. But net yield was significan tly influenced and its effect on weight of thousand kernels was highly influenced. Also effect of fertilizer level on plant height, maize height and percentage of corn cob was not significant but was highly significant on net yield and weight of thousand kernels. Intractional effect of method-level on plant height, maize height, percentage of corn cob and weight of thousand kernels was not significant but was significantly influenced on net yield . In this study fertilizer placement in one site of seedlings with level of 60 kg of nitrogen /ha , and with distance of 10 cm from seeding and in depth of 5 cm under the soil was considered as the most suitable treatment.
