Evaluation of promissing latyhrus(L.sativus) varieties adapation and yield stability in dryland conditions
2003
In order of study of adaptability and yield stability of lathyrus advanced lines this experiment carried out as RCBD with 8 lines in Koohdasht and Gachsaran dryland stations and 13 similar lines in Maragheh and Kurdistan dryland stations during two years (2001-2002). Statistical analiysis have been done on grain and biomass yield and Combined analysis was done for each region. Test of unility showed that only Maragheh and Kurdistan were homogenous so combined together and Gachsaran and Koohdasht were analysed separetely. Following results were achieved: 1-Result of combine analysis of Maragheh and Kurdistan showed that there was significant difference between lines and the line No 2 had the max Biomass yield (2258kg/ha). Since line No. 8 had the least interlocation variation it can be recommended for Maragheh and Kurdistan and similar regions. 2. In Koohdasht line No. 7 had the highest biomass yield (1982 kg/ha) and line No. 6 had the min yield (1176 kg/ha). Yield stability determined by Ranking and environmental CV methods and results showed that line No. 5 had good yield stability and it can be reeomended for Koohdasht region. 3. In Gachsaran lines No. 7 and 1 for high biomas yield (4892 kg/ha) was the best line for Gachsaran and similar region. There was not significant diference among lines.
