Effect of male parent pollen on the fruit quality (metaxenia) and on kernel (xenia) reported in almond, pistacia, pear, date and pecan. In some of European cultivars and most of Asian cultivars, self- compatibility percent is low so for produce commercial crops, pollinazer is necessary and different pollen may effect on traits fruit of main cultivar. This research was carried out based on RCB design in some apricot cultivars in 2001-2002 at Sahand Hort. R. S. In this experiment, Cultivars chose according to their index fruit traits. The results indicated that pollen type can significant effect on weight, size, time of maturity and flesh thickness of fruit but on sugar percentage and kernel taste weren’t ignificant difference.
