Clogging of dripper is the most important problem in trickle irrigation. Clogging may be physical, chemical or biological. The goal of this research was to determine the different kind of clogging, emission uniformity of the system and the relationship between dripper clogging and water quality. Seventeen projects in Khorasan(Kh), Kerman(K) and Semnan(D) provinces were evaluated and the quality of the applied water were analyzed. In addition management parameter of the systems were collected. The risk of dripper clogging due to acidity and concentration of total disolved solids in water was low to medium. The results derived by using Longelier Saturation Index (LSI) and multiplication of concentration of dissolved ions (Ksp) showed that the risk of chemical sedimentaion (CaCO3 and CaSO4) existed in most projects but it wasnot identified as the main cause for dripper clogging except in one of projects. Laterals were not maintained or washed in most of project. The overall results indicated that entering the suspended particles specially soil particles into the systems, improper usage, operation and maintanance of the systems and sedimentation of chemical compounds in long time caused the seven projects of the evaluated projects to have low efficiency.
