Study in sesame segregation generations

This study was conducted in 2001 to evaluate the 18 population of segrigating generation of F2 sesame plants of Safiabad Agriculture Research center of Dezful . The experiment design was a randomise complet block with three replication . Selection was made on the baies factors affecting yield . Results of the experiment showed that there was a significant different among population for phenological and phenotypical characteristics . Results fhowed that crosses number of 3 and 17 are suitabel for selection becusea of having more adaptation unther Khozestan conditions. It is recomendedthat for obtaining sustainable variaties for a region , selection showed be made in that regin so that cultivars compatible to that particular enviroment and resistant to pests and diseases could be selected .
