To determine sugarbeet’s water use, an experiment was carried out in Kerman research station for two years. Lawn and sugar beet were planted in two lysimeters for each. The evapotranspiration of lawn, sugar beet, and crop coefficients were measured for two years on daily basis. Growth stages were from May to October in two years. Mean, minimum, and maximum evapotranspiration of sugar beet were computed 877.5, 822.8 and 932.3 (mm) respectively. The seasonal crop coefficient of sugar beet was computed 0.81 in Kerman. The maximum crop coefficient is 0.95, and occurs 110 days after planting. Mean of root yield, sugar yield, and sugar content percent were 52.8 (ton/ha), 7.24 (ton/ha), and 16.6 respectively during two growth stages.
