In order to study The genetic diversity of leek (Allium ampeloprasum group persicum) 70 accessions gathered from agricultural stations and were planted in Karaj in 1976. Some characters were characterized, evaluated and analyzed using SPSS software program. Correlation, factor and cluster analysis were determined. Shannon relative coefficient showed that there were more diversity for peduncle color (0/96), flower structure (0/95 ) and stem color (0/81 ). Quantitative characters showed the highest diversity for number of stem (0/28) and number of floret (0/26). Factor analysis showed that 9 factors gave igenvalue greater than 1.0 and explained 69.5% of variance. Pink color showed positive correlation between flower, peduncle, vine and stigma. Correlations exist between large flower(length and width), stem thickness, no. of floret and leaves. Cluster analysis showed that there is no relationship between geographical location and morphological characters. Therefore, it may be concluded that the diversity of the population sample does not follow the geographical distribution pattern and the reason for this is the adaptation of tareh to different agro climatic conditions and the transfer and seed trade of the local cultivars from one area to another in Iran
