A total of 120 pigs were used to investigate the effect of feeding probiotics on physico chemical characteristics of pork. About 75 kg pigs were randomly alloted into one of forty experimental diet groups (C1: commercial diet feed, T1:commercial diet feed with 0.5% YC 2000∨®, T2: commerical diet feed with 0.1% YC 2000∨® AND 0.3% KBC 1121∨®). Pigs were slaughtered at approximately 110 kg live weight, and chemical composition and physico-shemical characteristics were measured in pork loin. In proximate analysis, there were no significantly differences among the samples of C, T1 and T2 in crude protein, crude fat and crude ash. However, moisture content was higher in T1 compared to other treatments.
