The common setbacks in providing broadband internet connectivity to pilot areas of the Open Academy for Philippine Agriculture are the lack of infrastructure, slow connections or limited bandwidth, and high cost of equipment and subscription. Last-mile connectivity can be realized through the use of low-cost WiFi solutions, through aggregated bandwidth and cluster network designs and utilizing fabricated equipment.
