The objective of the present work was to examine the lysozyme level in blood serum and milk of cows at two farms in the Lublin Province (Poland). The lysozyme level in both milk and blood was determined with the basin-diffussive method according to Hankiewicz. The experimentations were carried out on 42 cows BW breed. The cow feeding was differentiated depending on season of the year, still, at both farms the cows had feedstuffs of different quality and quantity. In summer time the pasture made the source of basic feed for two feeding groups, while in winter it was way, on animal requirements. It was proven that the season and feeding connected with it clearly affected the change of lysozyme level changed a little at that time. The results indicate higher lysozyme content in both, milk and blood of cows from the private farm. The highest values of lysozyme in milk and blood for the examined cows were recorded in summertime an both objects
