Energy consumption of pelleting process for instance fodder's for poultry

In this research we estimate influence of particle size reduction of components on pelleting energy. Investigations were carried out on fodders mixtures about particle's diameter 1.6, 0.7 and 0.6 mm. they were forced trough matrix of granulator about diameter 4 mm. Calculation of energy absorption was limited to measurement the waste of engine that drove the matrix of granulator. On the basis of conducted statistical analysis, we didn't affirm statistically significant differences of average values of pelleting energy in tested range of participle's diameter
