[Fluorine] - a potential contaminant [of] raw material in feed production

In the paper are indicated the results of measured quantity of fluorine (F) in 20 samples of imported fish meal and 20 samples of phosphate mineral feeding stuffs, produced in our country and abroad. The results show that the measured quantity of fluorine in most of the samples of fish meal is under the maximal allowed quantity. The quantity of fluorine in some of samples from phosphate mineral feed stuff exceedes the allowed values. This demands a permanent control of fluorine in the mentioned materials but also in other kinds of feeding stuffs.
