There was examined microbiological activity in rhizospheric soil planted with corn, cabbage and pepper on alluvial soil type form by suspended deposits of river Vardar (Macedonia, the Former Yugoslav Republic). There was established number and enzymatic activity of examined microorganisms in the soil. Number and enzymic activity of microorganisms depended on microorganisms type, depth of taken samples, plantaTion and time of taking samples. Examined soil is characterized with very high number of examined groups of microorganisms and intensive microbiological activity. The highest number of examined groups of microorganisms was established in the rhizosphere of cabbage and pepper, and lower in the rhizosphere of the corn. The highest activity of dehydrogenase was establsihed in the rhizosphere of pepper, and the lowest in the rhizosphere of corn.
