Grain yield, quality and economical effectiveness of spring barley cultivation according to fertilization
2003
Danilovic, M.
In the field trials in 1999 û 2001 on the Fluvi-eutric Gleysol, spring barley was grown in rotation with sugar beet as preceding crop and 4 variants of fertilization (V1-V4) were compared with variant without fertilization. Both variants of fertilization significantly increased grains yields of spring barley compared with no fertilized control. The best variant of fertilization with reference to achieved yield and economical regards was variant V1 (13 kg/ha N, 20 kg/ha P, 80 kg/ha K). The variability of spring barley grain yield was statistically significant influenced by climatic conditions and fertilization. The fertilization negatively influenced the content of crude protein in spring barley grain and variability of content of crude protein was statistically significant influenced by climatic conditions and fertilization. According to nutrition level content of crude protein was ranging from 11.23 to 13.28%.
